The “Journey of Faith” was developed by the Christian Education staff, council and committee members and was approved by our session at First Presbyterian Church. This plan is a Christian Education tool offering goals, objectives and resources to guide teachers, leaders and parents as they minister to our children.

Ages Two & Three

By the time FPC children have completed the Rainbows Sunday School class, they should know the following:

  • God is love
  • Jesus is my friend
  • God created the natural world
  • God is good
  • God takes care of me
  • God loves me
  • The Bible is a special book
  • Jesus was a gift from God
  • We thank God and talk to God through prayer

Children at these ages should see parents/teachers use the Bible, hear brief Bible stories, and say table blessings.
