At First Presbyterian, youth ministry is about connecting one to another, persons meeting persons, sharing in suffering and joy, sharing life before God and understanding that in our shared connections Jesus Christ is present. As our interactions with youth become more infused with prayer and relationship, as our ministries become more attentive to the movement of God, our programs become more natural and responsive to the real needs of teenagers.

From mid-September through mid-May, we offer all types of opportunities for connection for both middle and high schoolers. We meet during the week for small groups and Bible study, we hang out on Friday nights, we share meals together and we serve our community through Habitat and other service organizations.

Summers offer our youth a chance to go out into the world in order to learn, serve and grow together. We gather with youth from around the world at the Montreat Youth Conference and participate in the ongoing mission of the church through our local and global partnerships.

If you’re looking for a place where teenagers can connect, challenge themselves and their peers, serve the Lord and belong, we hope you’ll visit us at First Presbyterian.
