To ensure the safety and comfort of your children, please use the Attendance Sign-in Sheet at the classroom door when dropping off your child. If your child isn’t listed, please fill out a Visitor Information form. Make sure to inform us of any special needs your child may have. For younger children and older children who may be anxious, we ask that you leave your cell phone number with us so we may contact you in worship if needed. Don’t forget to adjust your phone to silent!

REMINDER: Parents MUST stay on church premises while their children are in the care of the church staff and volunteers on Sunday mornings.

Please plan to pick up your child promptly after your morning activities. Delays cause anxious and worried children. The Children’s Ministry does not typically provide childcare during receptions and fellowship hour following the 10:45 a.m. worship service. Children are welcomed and encouraged to attend these family functions.

Unless we have written permission from parents or legal guardians, we will not release children to older siblings, grandparents, aunts, uncles, other extended family or neighbors. This is to ensure the safety of your children, and we appreciate your cooperation with this policy. If you would like to grant permission for anyone other than parents or guardians to pick-up your children, please see our staff to complete the necessary form.

Snack & Food Allergies

Children in the Toddler Nursery through Kindergarten classes receive a snack (water and Goldfish© crackers) during the Sunday School hour. Please alert our staff if your child has a food allergy. Food allergy labels are available in each Sunday School classroom.

Nursery Necessities

When leaving children in the Infant and Toddler Nursery, we ask that you please bring a diaper bag packed with all items your child will need during their time with us. All formula bottles must be prepared prior to arrival. Please label all items with your child’s name. We ask that you please drop-off your child and diaper bag, share any pertinent information with the caregiver and leave as quickly as possible, as this helps with the transition for your child. Children, even those with some anxiety, transition better when parents don’t linger. Our staff is required to take CPR, care and hygiene training courses. Hygiene policies are stressed in diapering, sanitizing toys/equipment and proper cleaning of the rooms. Parents can be assured that our staff and volunteers provide a sanitary, safe and loving atmosphere for your children.

We adhere to strict health and hygiene policies for the protection of your children. If your child has been sick, he or she should be free from symptoms 24 hours before attending church. Please keep your child home if there are any signs of the following symptoms: fever, diarrhea, rashes, sore throat, nausea or vomiting, flushed face, ear ache, enlarged glands, productive cough, discharging or pink eye. Should a child develop any of the above symptoms while under our care, we will notify you to pick up your child immediately. Please notify our staff if your child contracts a contagious disease so parents may be notified of possible exposure to their child.
