View the new additions to our campus on Dec. 21
Come experience our progress as we near the finish line!
This Advent, we remember that God often does God’s best work along long journeys. Since 2017, our congregation has been on such a journey of discernment, generosity, and vision as we worked to renew our campus for future ministry.
We are thrilled to share that many of our newly renovated and expanded spaces will be open for a “first look” on Sunday, Dec. 21, from 10 to 10:50 a.m. Thanks to the generosity of 470 households who pledged more than $40 million, these spaces are now ready to welcome you.
During this time, you may walk through the new areas, ask questions, reconnect, and celebrate what God is making possible.
Open for visiting:
The Correll Family Commons – a beautiful central gathering space with a new Peachtree Street entrance, new elevator, and new restrooms
Renovated DuPre, Robinson, Memorial, and Memory Gardens
Four of six new adult Sunday School rooms with state-of-the-art Zoom Room technology (including the Wirth Room overlooking the DuPre Garden)

New Robinson Garden entry and DuPre Gathering/Gallery Hall connecting to the Correll Commons
Redesigned Arts Center Way parking lot and north driveway providing two-way traffic from Peachtree Street

Campus Construction and Renovation Update
Renovation of the North–South Hall continues at First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta as part of our ongoing capital project.
Stage 1, which began Oct. 20, focuses on the section nearest the 16th Street entrance.
Stage 2, which began Oct. 27, moves work to the middle section of the hallway.
Stage 3 will begin Nov. 3 on the Fifield end of the hall.
During each stage, sections of the hallway will be closed during the week but remains passable on Sundays with Vestry access maintained throughout the project.
On Friday, Oct. 25, protective scaffolding was installed over the 16th Street entry doors ahead of canopy work. The scaffolding provided uninterrupted lobby access during the two-week canopy project.
The Flower Room and Nursing Room remain unavailable until work is complete.
Renovation of the third-floor staff conference area also continue with framing and drywall installation.
The temporary wooden ramp at the 16th Street entrance has been removed. Ramp access is available at the entrance of the Sanctuary or the North Drive entrance near Fifield Hall. The 16th Street entrance is open for Sunday worship.
Thank you for your continued patience as improvements across campus move forward.

Youth Ministry
New Sunday School for Parents of Youth
We’re excited to introduce a brand-new opportunity for parents and adults with a heart for teenagers to gather for connection and learning each Sunday at 10 a.m. in the Smith Building, Conference Room 272. This weekly time together will encourage conversation, build community, and equip us as we walk alongside middle and high school students in their faith and daily lives. We hope to strengthen both our relationships with young people and with one another. Whether you’re a parent, grandparent, mentor, or simply someone who cares about teenagers, you are warmly invited to be part of this new community.
