What in the World?

An update on the Haiti ministry from Pere Vil, FPC’s primary mission contact in La Gonave, Haiti: The security situation in Haiti has degenerated. Families are moved from Port-au-Prince, losing their homes and businesses. Doors of schools, churches, and other private and public institutions are closed. The country is closing in on itself. Air flights are suspended. And on the faces of the Haitian people, despair is clearly visible. However, on La Gonave, despite the cost-of-living crisis, we are lucky to be able to continue our activities. As partners, you give us the means to this end. Because of your generous support, your donations and commitments, we are maintaining our ministry to the families on La Gonave. We are very grateful to you. We know that because of Christ, no situation is hopeless forever.

Flower Delivery Volunteers Needed

Flowers give beauty, hope, and solace and enhance the fabric of the church. Every Sunday after the 11:00 a.m. service, our Flower Ministry divides the large flower arrangements into several smaller bouquets. We are seeking volunteers to help deliver these arrangements to our shut-ins, those who are ill, and those who need encouragement. If you are interested in helping, please sign up below or contact Bethany Galvin at bgalvin@firstpresatl.org
