College Ministry
Care for our students beyond high school.
Our students’ belonging in the FPC community doesn’t just stop when they graduate high school. College students are invited to join in our Prayer Pals ministry as well as our youth group alumni events during Christmas and Summer breaks.
Prayer Pals
At the end of every summer, FPC College offers all college students the opportunity to connect with a prayer pal! A prayer pal is a fellow church member who will pray for students, reach out with occasional texts of encouragement, and send a few fun care packages throughout the school year! College students are more than welcome to ask a church member on their own, or FPC College can match them with someone.
Christmas Reunion
As our college students return from school for winter break, FPC College hosts a Christmas Reunion to celebrate the season and reconnect with friends! Each year, all FPC college students and their prayer pals are invited to the party, which is hosted at a church member’s house. We gather to catch up, enjoy dinner, and play a huge game of white elephant!
Summer Community
Over summer break, FPC College provides plenty of opportunities for students to reconnect with FPC and reunite with friends! We host a college student small group (or college student hangouts) and an annual send-off party at the end of summer. As students prepare to return for the fall semester, FPC College hosts a party at a church member’s house! Students get to reconnect or meet their prayer pals and enjoy dinner with friends. Our hope is to ensure college students always feel connected to their FPC family!
