In the month of September, we will share short weekday worship services with contact-free communion in the DuPre Garden at FPC.
First Watch services will be led by one of our pastors on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 7:30-8:00 a.m. (We will not gather on Labor Day, September 7). First Watch services will include communion with individually packaged and sealed communion sets. To join these worship gatherings:
Reservations are required for participation. A reservation link will be included in the Friday e-blast for services the following week. Participants will also be required to complete an online waiver in order to come on campus.
The maximum capacity for each service is 15 individuals. Chairs in the garden will be six feet apart, with members of the same household seated together in a grouping. When making a reservation for a household, please list every participant’s name so that we can maintain social distancing within the garden’s capacity.
To allow more of our church family to participate, we ask that each individual/household sign up for only one service per week.
The pastor leading each service will welcome participants in the Smith lobby from 7:15-7:25 a.m.
Masks must be worn at all times (ages 5 and up) while on campus and in the garden. Masks can be taken down when consuming communion elements.
There will not be printed bulletins, but an order of service will be emailed to participants before each service.
If it is raining just before a scheduled service, we will not have that service and participants should register for another worship gathering.
