We all know the summer camp song, “They Will Know We are Christians by Our Love.” And yet, if we’re honest, it can be difficult to be loving. Our patience wears thin. Someone cuts us off again on I-85. Or someone close to us has really hurt us. What does it mean to love others? What does it mean to love our enemies? And why is love so important for the Christian community?
Join Chris Holmes for this four-week series on 1 John as we explore these and other questions. The class will be offered in-person in room B-111 and online using Zoom. Four sessions: June 6, 13, 20, and 27.
