Cross-Cultural Encounters in the New Testament
We will have a virtual Bible study each Thursday this February from 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Stembler Scholar Rev. Dr. Chris Holmes and Rev. Dr. David Cortes, New Testament scholar and former Mission Coworker in Cuba, will lead this cross-cultural Bible study. Chris and David will offer studies of New Testament passages in which people of different cultures encounter one another, and they will explore with the group ways in which our own cultures inform our readings of these texts.
Before and after each live session, participants may access additional learning resources here.

TheoEd Talks February 2021
TheoEd Talks is a faith-based speaker series that brings together leading thinkers in the church and the academy.
These talks are neither sermons nor lectures. They are TED-style presentations that seek to spark conversations about God, religion, and the power of faith to change lives and communities.
Whether you regularly attend church or are someone who is just curious about faith, TheoEd offers a fresh, compelling, and accessible way to go deeper in your own spiritual journey.
TheoEd is sponsored by First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta and The Candler Foundry. The event will be hosted virtually.
