Youth Sunday
Join us for Youth Sunday, the Sunday after Easter, as our incredible youth lead us in worship! Students in 6th–12th grade are invited to participate in this special tradition, sharing their gifts in worship, music, and leadership across all three services. Seniors will have the opportunity to preach, and all youth are encouraged to take part as liturgists or especially in the 11:00 a.m. youth processional. All youth and their families are also invited to a light brunch at 10:00 a.m. in Fifield Hall. It will be a meaningful morning honoring our students and celebrating their journeys of faith in the life of our church. Youth can sign up by clicking here!

Youth Guatemala Impact Trip
FPC Youth is heading to Guatemala for a brand new impact trip, and all current 8th-12th graders are invited! Partnering with CEDEPCA ministries, we will join the work that God is already doing in Guatemala City. We’ll collaborate with churches, listen to the experiences of local Guatemalans, build relationships, and explore Guatemala’s vibrant culture through unique adventures. We are so excited about this incredible opportunity to partner, learn, explore, and grow together! Three mandatory training sessions will be held in the spring for all participants (dates TBD). High School Montreat
Our current 8th - 12th graders are returning to Montreat, NC on July 13-19, 2025 for WEEK 4 of the Montreat Youth Conference!!! We’ll join hundreds of youth from PCUSA groups across the country for a week of energizers, keynote speakers, small groups, recreation, worship, and a Wednesday whitewater rafting adventure! Middle School Montreat
Middle schoolers, want to experience the joy of Montreat?! From July 16-20, 2025, we’re heading to the Middle School Montreat Conference at Maryville College in Tennessee. Open to all students who are currently in 5th-8th grade, this week is packed with activities like worship, small groups, games, and recreation! We hope you can join us on this new adventure! Youth Ski Trip
Calling all 8th-12th grade skiers and snowboarders! Join us from February 14-17, 2025, for an unforgettable weekend of skiing, snowboarding, cozy fires, hot chocolate, & spiritual growth. We’re heading back to the wonderful Winterplace, WV, where we’ll stay in the same two side-by-side, ski-in/ski-out homes as last year. Whether you're a first-timer needing lessons or a seasoned pro ready to tackle black diamonds, there's something for everyone.
Don’t miss out—submit your initial deposit here by Dec. 1, 2024! The total trip cost is estimated to be around $600, with a 2nd deposit due in Jan. 2025.

Youth Super Bowl Watch Party
All youth are invited to join us for our Youth Group Super Bowl Watch Party on Sunday, February 9, from 6:30–8:30 p.m. at the Cousar Household! Enjoy the first half of the game and halftime show, or take part in fun games if football isn’t your thing. Bring a homemade chip dip to compete in our Dip Competition—the winning dip will earn a $20 gift card! Youth Mental Health Connections Night
Let's talk about mental health! Join us on Sunday, February 2, from 5:30–7:30 PM for this year’s Mental Health Connections Night! Dr. Lauren Edwards and our very own youth alum Jonny Sundermeier will lead an eye-opening conversation about how teens navigate substance use during different stages of life. Free dinner included! Youth Lock Out
Due to weather, the Youth Lock Out has been postponed to Sunday, January 26, from 3:00 to 8:30 PM. This new date will take the place of our first regular Youth Group meeting and still features all the fun activities: ice skating, Adventure Air Sports, and dinner instead of late-night snacks! If you’ve already signed up but can’t make the new date, email youth@firstpresatl.org for a reimbursement. Haven’t signed up yet? There’s still time—sign up here!

Youth Lock Out
Instead of locking in, we’re locking out with a fun night together in North Atlanta. All 6th-12th graders are invited to join us for our FPC Youth Lock Out on Friday, January 10th! We’ll meet in the back parking lot at 6:15 p.m. to head up to Alpharetta. Please make sure to eat dinner beforehand so we can jump right into the fun! We'll ice skate at The Cooler, play and jump at Adventure Air Sports (think trampolines, obstacle courses, XR basketball, indoor zip lines, etc.), and end the night with late-night milkshakes at Cook Out. Pick-up is at 11:30 p.m.
Tickets are $50. Register HERE by Tuesday, January 7th.

FPC Youth Sees "A Christmas Carol"
All 6th-12th graders are invited to join FPC Youth on December 15th for a festive evening and inspiring message as we see "A Christmas Carol" at the Alliance Theater next door! We'll gather for pizza at the church at 6:00 p.m., then head to the 7:00 p.m. show. The performance wraps up around 9:30 p.m., with pick-up in the church’s back parking lot. .
Discounted tickets include dinner, but space is limited—sign up by December 1st!

Youth Group Christmas Party
🎄🎉 It’s the most wonderful time of the year! 🎉🎄 Join us for the Youth Christmas Party on Sunday, December 8, from 5:30-7:30pm! Come dressed in your tackiest Christmas attire and get ready for tons of festive fun. We’ll have a White Elephant gift exchange (max $15/gift), a gingerbread house competition, and exciting games. Plus, you might even win one of three amazing surprise gifts!

Youth Service Night
During this season of gratitude and giving back, we invite all youth to our Community Ministries Service Night on November 17 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. This is a wonderful time of fellowship where we come together to prepare Thanksgiving meals for those experiencing homelessness. Let’s make a difference in our community by spreading love and compassion this Thanksgiving season. We look forward to seeing you there! ❤️🦃

Guatemala Interest Meeting

Youth Group is BACK!
YOUTH GROUP IS BACK! Starting on Sunday, August 18th, all 6th through 12th graders are invited every Sunday from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. in Fifield Hall for dinner, epic games, age-specific small groups, and tons of fun! Throughout the year our Youth Group program offers various opportunities for building relationships and spiritual connection, including several message series, special holiday celebrations, and community service nights. Please RSVP at firstpresatl.org/youthevents prior to each Youth Group gathering to ensure ample food for dinner.

FPC Youth Fall Tailgate
ALL YOUTH AND YOUTH FAMILIES INVITED! Join us as we kick off another year of youth group together with a tailgate in the back parking lot on August 11th! Come for the Varsity food truck, snow cones, games, bounce houses, and an overview of all the upcoming events and programming in store for FPC Youth 2024-2025! Weddings
Weddings at First Presbyterian Church are worship services during which two people are united in the presence of God. From the historic beauty of the Tiffany stained-glass windows to our stately stone edifice, every element of a wedding here supports this sacred union.
